About Red Mop

Brisbane businesswoman Trenna Reid launched Red Mop in 2017. In January 2018, the business was registered in preparation for the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme in the following July. In 2022, after great demand from our existing and new clients, we now provide Support Work and Home Care Service under Red Mop Pty Ltd for Plan-Managed and Self-Managed NDIS participants. We specialise in Home Care Services for the disability sector, and have a dedicated and growing team, including hundreds of satisfied customers. Here at Red Mop:

  • We cater ONLY for the homes and offices of NDIS participants
  • We provide a professional service, with fees aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits
  • We use commercial grade equipment and natural, plant-based products
  • We adhere to your instructions and your schedule
  • We do not subcontract our services. All our staff receive award wages and allowances.
  • We offer Service Agreements with no lock-in contracts.
  • We are fully insured and accredited, and comply with NDIS regulations.

Our equipment

Red Mop uses Numatic Henry Vacuums with HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters and bags. We sanitise our equipment between every job, and we always use freshly laundered, high-grade micro cloths and micro mop heads for every job. Our staff use rostering software to clock in and out of jobs and they supply feedback, requests and changes directly to the office.

PROCESS

Our Working Process

Booking

Once you've submitted a booking request, we will be in touch with scheduling options for Household tasks and or Support work. We will also send a follow-up SMS.

The Clean

This is where we do what we do best. If you don't know where to start, we do. We follow a Basic Cleaning Checklist for every home and can add tasks to the shift as required, whether recurring or a one-off. We record and tailor to your requirements to ensure that we meet your needs.

Follow-Up

We will be in touch to check that you are completely satisfied prior to offering you a Service Agreement.
